Mishna course (*New*)

PBM is proud to launch our Mishna course in Manchester! Many thanks to Whitefield shul for partnering with us for this exciting venture!
The Mishna course has been running successfully in London for the past couple of years. With:
- Carefully and highly structured curriculum
- Incremental study techniques
- Emphasis on core skills and methodology
- Multiple levels
- Innovative design
The goal of PBM is certainly ambitious. Developing the skills to study independently and to access one’s heritage requires commitment and focus. However it is also immensely rewarding and enjoyable! Why not give it a try and sign up today!

Time: 8:05pm – 9:35pm (Maariv 7:45pm)

Cost: £60 (£30 one-time registration fee + all course materials, £30 for 6 weeks tuition)(Following the initial 6 weeks there is no further obligation to continue. Should you wish to contributions are set at £32/month payable by standing order.)

Gemara course
The PBM Gemara module is a highly structured adult education programme designed to build independence in Jewish textual study.
There are currently 50 men over 7 weekly Manchester groups learning the PBM Gemara course (see our current groups below and see what you friends say – read our testimonials here!). We are now offering you the exciting opportunity to join our hugely successful flagship course starting soon.
This is run as an initial 6-week taster course, following which there is no further obligation to continue. Please see our FAQ page for further information.
Please select your preferred day and time from the drop-down menu and a second choice. We will contact you shortly after registration closes with details (venue, time and teacher) of your group. We will endeavour to give you your first choice where possible. New groups will commence week beginning Sunday 11th June 2017.

Start times vary from 8:00 – 8:30pm. Each session is 1½ hours.

Parsha course
Following two hugely successful terms of the ladies PBM Parsha course, we are now launching a parallel men’s group. Each weekly session will last for 1 hour and will give you an opportunity to engage and analyse a section from the weekly Parsha yourself. The section will then be explained and expounded upon, bringing out relevant messages and teachings, with something for you to say over at the Shabbos table! The sessions will be taught by Rabbi Feivish Kaye and Rabbi Yehoshua Katz on alternate weeks.
